It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Critchfield of Livingston, Texas, born in Abbeville, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Theozime Schexnayider (Mack) and Ozita Marie Schexnayider (Frederick); her husband Gerald Everet Critchfield; her children, Richard Dean Critchfield and Phyllis Kay Smith; and her grandson Christopher Roberts.
She is survived by : her children, Idora Sue Geer of Oklahoma, Jacqueline Johnson of Nebraska, Tommy Joe Eberhard, Vickie Diane Fairchild and Gerald Critchfield. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
