He was predeceased by : his son Caleb Maze; his parents, Herman Maze and Doris Maze (Owens); his grandson Rusty Maze; and his siblings, Darrell Maze and Doris Vasileadis.

He is survived by : his sons, Ethan (Allyson Maze) and Nolan (Randee Maze); his brothers, Larry Maze, Donnis Maze of Livingston, Texas and Randy; his sister-in-law Leslie Maze of Livingston, Texas; his sisters, Teresa Maze of Livingston, Texas and Tammy Maze Doucett; his brother-in-law Cody of Livingston, Texas; and his grandchildren, Dawson Maze, Hudson Maze, Mason Maze, Waylon Maze, Wrynlee Maze and Wade Maze. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
