She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Sparks and Effie Slater; her husband Linville Brown; her siblings, Jack, Meldona, Nettie, Noah, Wilma and Woody; her son James Brown; her children-in-law, Margaret Brown and Elvin Simpson; her grandson Russel Beard; her great grandchild Corral Beard; and her great great grandchild Teygan Beard.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Simpson, Terryl Brown (Angela) and Elise Hooper (Lance); her grandchildren, Carrie Michelle Beard, Kenneth Beard, Andrea (Annie), Keith Brown (Tara), Linville Brown, Sonya Brown, Sophia Brown, Cameron Hooper (Blaize), Lauren Rodgers (Lane), Megan Cohu (Baylor), Addison Webb (Colby), Kaelyn Hooper, Lissa Dickinson (Brandon), Shanna Holloway (Mike), Rhonda Grossheim (Dwayne), Dean Simpson and Gary Simpson; and her great grandchildren, Cara Floyd, Jacob Floyd, Kyle Naquin, Zacory Beard, Audrie Giglio, Madelyn Beard, Kylie Beard, Nicholas Roberson, Keagan Roberson, Ethan Brown, Lilly Brown, Jacob Munoz, Tareyn Daugherty, Beau Hooper, Lila Rodgers, Barrett Hooper, Colt Cohu, Rosie Rodgers, Karter Kate Cohu, Hunter Block, Helena Block, Dylan Block, Benjamin Block, Gabrielle Dickinson, Cody Holloway, Wesley Holloway and Brian Holloway. She is also survived by several great-great-grandchildren, along with countless extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
