He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Cain and Alice Cain; his brother John Cain; and his grandson Joseph Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Kay Cain of Segno; his sister Sissie; his brother-in-law Gary Hendrix of Dallardsville; his children, Michael Cain of Segno and Stephanie; his son-in-law Joel Hendrix of Livingston; his grandchildren, Heather Ellis of Livingston, Summer, Victor Mathews of Livingston, Preston Cain of Livingston, Caitlyn Cain, Tristen Knapp of Point Blank, Savannah, Brad Shirley of Livingston and Ben Johnson of Livingston; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Ellis, Axel Ellis, Piper Mathews, Sawyer Mathews, Tripp Mathews, Sadie Cain, Grant Cain, Saylor Harris, Tate Shirley and Olivia Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Hill Cemetery.
