In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Mavis Yvonne's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Mavis Yvonne's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Baxley and Elizabeth Davis Baxley; and her husband Sam Baggett Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Donnis Baggett (Beverly Brown) of Bryan and Martha Ellis (Bill Hodges) of Livingston. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakdale Cemetery (1814 Oakdale Loop, Livingston, TX 77351).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund at the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, 241 Earl Garrett Street, Kerrville, TX 78028.
