He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Buchanan and Rose Lee Buchanan; and his siblings, Lester Buchanan, Peggy Jane Kleen and Earl Buchanan.
He is survived by : his wife Peggy Buchanan; his daughters, Linda Darlene Sweatman (Jay) of Michigan, Theresa Cis (Cisco) of Manvel and Denise Perry of Llano; his sister JoAnn Berryhill of Llano; and his grandchildren, Michael Cis (LeeAnn) of Katy, Alyssa Muecke (Josh) of Goodyear, David Perry (Karen) of Llano, Cody Perry (Samee) of Manvel and Angela Zabawski (Jeremy) of Michigan. He is also survived by grandkids, 4 great great grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews.
