It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Mae Alex (Lockhart, Texas), born in Alvin, Texas, who passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Trinity and John S. Thompson, Sr.; her husband William "Bill" Alex; and her brother David. She is survived by : her children, Sammy Alex (Peggy), Leslie Lee, Billie Ann Loep (Jack) and William "Hank" Alex (Cindy); her siblings, John S. Thompson, Jr. (Kathy) and Myrtle Alexander (Milton); her grandchildren, Amber, Beth (Charles), Daniel, Keith, Shawn, Billy, Jacob and Kristina (Andy); her great grandchildren, Ivan, Wyatt, Oliver, Pauline, Brooklyn, Ace and Christian; her granddaughter Quinlyn; and her siblings-in-law, Lillian Pfefferkorn, Melvin Alex and C. A. Pippus. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
