With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Yanez Duran of Lockhart, Texas, born in San Marcos, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Antonio, Luz Yanez, Julian and Consuelo Duran. He is survived by: his parents, Jesus "Chuy" Hurtado Duran and Alicia Yanez Duran; his sons, Julian "Jay" Anthony Duran (David Montoya) and Gilbert Jacob Duran; his half-brother Daniel "Danny" Ybarra; his wife Joann Villalpando; his son Daniel "Danny" Ybarra (Serrah); his grandchildren, Addie Ybarra and Dani Rose Ybarra; and his siblings, Leonard Duran (Sheena), Jesse "Cat" Duran, Graciela Duran-Briceno (Benny) and Lucinda "Lucy" Duran. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
