He is survived by: his father Jose Luis Alanis; his siblings, Coral Alanis, Jose Luis Alanis, Jr (Elizabeth) and Hugo Alanis; and his siblings' children, Josue S. Alanis, Jaziel J. Alanis, Daniel L. Alanis and Genesis C. Esquivel (Angel).
