She was predeceased by : her parents, Jose Villalpando, Sr. (Joe) and Juanita Villalpando (Natal); her son Victor V. Ortiz; her siblings, Victor Villalpando, Rita Villalpando, Carmen Gonzales (Villalpando), Julia Jennings (Villalpando) and Diana Zapata (Villalpando); and her siblings-in-law, Filemon Gonzales and Laurie Villalpando.

She is survived by : her sons, Kevin Ortiz (Suzanne), Patrick Ortiz (Wendy) of Lockhart and Robert "Robbie" Ortiz, Jr. (Misty) of Nada, Texas.; her siblings, Andrew Villalpando, Joe Villalpando, Jr. and Mary Ester Auwen; the father of her children Robert H. Ortiz, Sr.; her grandchildren, Anthony Javier Garcia, Aslynn Amanda Garcia, Alyssa Leigh Garcia, Kevin Victor Ortiz, Atiana Giselle Ortiz, Elias Giovanni Ortiz, Osiah Gaven Ortiz, Selah Ann Ortiz and Anaya Rose Ortiz; and her nephews, Steve Sanchez, Lex Jennings, Jr., Chris Jennings, Chris Cathey, Sr., Daniel Zapata and Jonathan Zapata. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
