He is survived by: his wife Avis Desaulnier West; his children, Cynthia Ann Beckermann (Kenneth), Debbie Lynne Pennington (Leroy) and William D. "Billy" West Jr. (Mary); and his stepchildren, Beth Desaulnier, Steven Desaulnier, Michael Desaulnier, Brian Desaulnier (Debby), Jerry Desaulnier (Kathy) and Arnold Desauliner (Laura). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
