It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice F. Craig of Lubbock, Texas, born in Spearville, Kansas, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Craig; her daughter Rhonda Sue Craig; her parents, Charles Ackerman and Elizabeth Ackerman; and her siblings, Erma Schneweis, Martha Strecker and Gilbert Ackerman of Kansas.

She is survived by: her children, Joanna, Kenny Smith of Incline Village, NV, Karen, David Gregory of Lubbock, TX and Lisa; her sister Catherine Brungardt of Garden City, KS; and her sister-in-law Judith Ackley of Broomfield, CO.. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (9821 Frankford Ave, Lubbock, TX 79424). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Catholic Charities or Meals on Wheels.
