She was predeceased by: her parents, William Long and Beatrice Long (Benson); her husband Ronald Alton Ammons; and her siblings, Norval Long, Glenn Long, Richard Long, Sandra Patterson, Jacquetta Perry, Wytoka Casey, Wanda Jones, Billie Jones and Patsy Montgomery.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Ammons of Lubbock, Jack Ammons (April) of Lubbock, Pam Jester (Cory) and John Ammons (Becky) of Tahoka.
