He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesus Garza and Feliz Garza; his sisters, Flor Moreno, Irene Garza and Yolanda Rodriquez; and his nephew Israel Garza.

He is survived by : his children, Maria (Jerry Brito), Adreana Garza and Arthur Jr. (Sarah Garza); his grandchildren, Anaya, Jaydrian, Blanca, Diego and Ava; and his siblings, Josie (Paul Brigham), Ruben (Lena Garza), Jimmy Garza, Jessie (Sandra Garza), Mary Ann Garza, Nelda Baldwin, Rachel (Francisco Gonzales) and Mary (Pete Mata).
