He is survived by: his wife Lidia Reyes Medina; his children, Maria Magdalena "Maggie" Medina (Adam Cavazos), Benigno "Ben" Medina Jr. (Abigail Valdez), Andrea Medina Goodman (Doug Goodman) and Marisol Medina (Gilbert Perez); his grandchildren, Robert Espinoza Jr., Sophia, Anthony Saenz, Jacob Medina (Noelle LaGrone), Sabrina Medina Goodman, Daniela Medina, Sarah Medina, Alliana Russell, Tyler Russell, Jasmine Puente (Chris Cruz Orozco), Nathaniel Puente, Douglas B. Goodman and Julian Feliciano Perez; his daughter-in-law Leslie Cline Medina; and his sisters, Reyna and Emma. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Guajardo Funeral Chapels (407 N University Ave, Lubbock, TX 79415). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Grace Catholic Church (3111 Erskine St, Lubbock, TX 79415).
