It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Earl Woody Jr. (Lubbock, Texas), who passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph, Elizabeth Krebbs, Glenn and Odell Woody-Cook; his uncle Pat Donley; and his father-in-law James Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Woody; his children, Samantha and David Woody, III; his parents, David Woody, Sr. and Nancy (Jack Warlick); and his sister Kathryn (Chad Driskill). He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Luke's Methodist Church (3708 45th St, Lubbock, TX 79413). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (5740 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407).
