It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Langston of Plains, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Langston to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, we take solace in the memories we hold dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Don may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, J. W Langston and Leota Langston; and his sister Ellenor Wilkison. He is survived by : his wife Gayle; and his daughters, Laurie (Jeff Terry), Amy (Alan West) and Bonnie (Mickey Eckles). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial (6025 82nd St, Lubbock, TX 79424). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Church (7002 Canton Ave, Lubbock, TX 79413). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Resthaven Cemetery.

In 2023, he was honored by Lubbock Cotton Growers for his thirty years of service on the board of directors and valued contributions to the gin and farming industry.
