It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Sanchez Newman of Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Sanchez and Ofelia Sanchez; and her husband Cecil W. Newman. She is survived by: her children, Jeannette Hanchey (Mike) of Coppell, Christine Newman of Lubbock, Jeffrey Newman (Leigh Ann) of Tulsa and Catherine Bowles (Terry) of Plano, Texas; her grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel Newman of Tulsa, Elise and Nicholas Bowles of Plano, Texas; her siblings, Mary Lacy (Steve), Ray Sanchez (Ysela), Joe Sanchez (Olivina), Tina Gonzalez and Gracie Acevedo; and her close friend Lindy Whillock.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lubbock or St John the Baptist Catholic Church or that an act of kindness be done for someone in need today.
