She is survived by : her mother Jeanette; her stepfather Joel Velasquez; her father Louis Hernandez Jr.; her stepmother Melinda Nava of Slaton; her children, Nathan Hightower, Shawn Williams and Ily'ana Hernandez; her siblings, Matthew (Leslie Hernandez), Anthony (Alanna Velasquez), Johann Tillery of Amarillo, Ashley Hernandez of Slaton, Sonia Velasquez of Lubbock and Lillian Newell of Slaton; and her grandparents, Maria Lopez and Louis Hernandez Sr.. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A Mass was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 705 S 4th St, Slaton, TX 79364.
