It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay E. Attebury of Lubbock, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on April 8, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gay E. Attebury to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Stricklin and Patricia Stricklin (Shaughnessy); and her brother-in-law Bill Wood. She is survived by : her husband Kelly Attebury of Lubbock; her children, Robyn Ellis (Jimmy) of Rockville and Taylor Attebury (Katherine) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Harvey, Maev Ellis of Rockville and Louise Attebury of Lexington; and her siblings, Robert Stricklin (Lil) of Valley View, TX, Terri, Suzy Crump (Carl) of LaFayette, LA and Sam Stricklin (Susan Richardson). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 4:25 PM.
