He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva Hernandez; his son Jacob Hernandez; his father Thomas Hernandez; his siblings, Guadalupe Hernandez, Cecilia Gutierrez and Eva Guzman; and his parents-in-law, Crespin R. Orosco and Olivia Orosco.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Orosco Hernandez; his son Isaac "Ike" (Celeste) of Lubbock, Texas; his grandchildren, Jenah, Crespina, Jayvin (Samantha), Joshua, Sydni, Alejandra, Giavana and Ava; his great grandchildren, Jazzlynn, Jaylee, Jayceigh, Izayah, Luka, Gianni and Aryes; and his brothers, Thomas Hernandez and Noe Hernandez.
