She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Rhodes and Benjamin Rhodes; her sisters, Betty Jean, Lorene and Lola; her children, Melvin Wayne Buckaloo, Olen Keith Buckaloo, Tony James Buckaloo and Donna Marie George; her granddaughters, Tina Marie Rivera and Angelia Kim Mitchell; and her great great grandchild Samuel Onyx Almanza.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Arlene, Danny Leon, Lavetta Lynn, Gayla Maxine, Rhonda Christine, Billie Jean, Terri Jolene and Brandon Jero.
