She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Resendez and Amelia Resendez (Alaquinez); her husband Ramiro Leal; her children, Armando Leal and Normal Linda Leal; and her siblings, Benny, Jessie, Cruz, Johnny, Raymond Resendez, Ester Leal, Florencia Reyes and Rosemary Salazar.
She is survived by: her children, Beatrice Cervantez (Bobby Santos) of Hondo and Rudy Leal (Sylvia) of Lubbock; and her sister Hortencia Montanez (Jose) of Levelland. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Juanita's memory to Hospice of the South Plains, 4413 82nd Street, #135, Lubbock, TX 79424.
