It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Jean Burney of Lubbock, Texas, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Ford and Cecelia Ford; her husband Don Burney; her son Bruce Burney; and her sister Carole Mellin.

She is survived by: her daughter Brandi Doss; her granddaughters, Brogan Hene (Russell), Blaze Shipley (Jaxon), Brooklyn Burney and Brettley Burney; and her great grandchildren, Stone, Worth, Steiner, Haze and Rove. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
