She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Marvin Cox and Velma Chasarho Garrett Cox; and her husband Johnny Monroe Owens. She is survived by: her children, Lance Owens and Leah Owens-Toney; her grandchildren, Wyatt, Wesley, Wylee Toney and Tanner Owens; her sisters, Paula Ann Cox McDermett and Aniece Cox Zweig (Scott); and her pet Danni. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
