She was predeceased by: her parents, Blas Mendoza and Anita Mendoza (Ornelas); her husband Armando Davila; her siblings, Bentura (Ben), Frank, Charlie, Lupe, John Mendoza, Angelica Mendoza, Amalia Magdaleno (Molly) and Mary Pena; and her siblings-in-law, Alice, Francisca, Nancy Mendoza, Leon Pena, Elias Quintero and Sergio Tristan.
She is survived by: her son Israel Davila (Sandra) of Lago Vista, TX; her siblings, Blas Mendoza of Kearney, NE, Robert Mendoza (Charlene) of Gering, NE, Delia Quintero of Plano, TX and Elvira Tristan (Vera) of Ft. Collins, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Aurelia Mendoza and Ruben Magdaleno. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Combest Family Memorial Chapel (2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Cathedral (4011 54th St, Lubbock, TX 79413).
