She was predeceased by : her parents, Lugene Smith and Pauline Smith (Miller); and her siblings, Rodney Smith and Judy Askew. She is survived by : her husband Robert Dean Bopp; her daughter Ashlea Stockton of Lubbock; and her siblings, Alson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Dennis Smith of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Linda Smith of Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

Family requests memorial donations, in Phyllis' memory, be made to the American Diabetes Association.
