He was predeceased by: his mother Kay Kelley (Collins); and his daughter Brandi. He is survived by: his wife Jetahn Bilbrey; his sons, Nick Kelley of Austin, Texas, Mike Kelley (Mallory) of Weatherford, Texas and Luke Kelley of Lubbock, Texas; and his grandchildren, Avery Kelley and Wayne Kelley.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to This Able Veteran, 1714 Wolf Creek Road, Carbondale, IL 62902.
