We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2022, at the age of 85, Shirley Jean Blancet in Lubbock, Texas, born in Monument, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Chase and Etta Marie Chase (Richards); her siblings, Bill Chase, George Chase, Vera Doughty and Margaret Montgomery; and her sisters-in-law, Lavetta Chase, Naomi Chase, Marilyn Chase and Lenna Chase.

She is survived by: her husband Nygal Blancet (Cookie); her daughters, Marsha Larson (Butch), Julie Balthrop (John) and Tammy Anderson (Mike); her brothers, Mack Chase and Jim; her grandmother Brewer (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Bobby Standridge (Amanda), Kelli Boseman (Derek), Jason Standridge (Lesly), Dusty Anderson (Rianna) and Ty Anderson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, three grand dogs and numerous nieces and nephews.
