We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2020, at the age of 83, Shirley Jean Hughes formerly of Lubbock, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Burks and Doris Emaline Mazy; and her siblings, Wanda DeLong and Hardy Glenn Burks. She is survived by : her former life partner W. H. Clark; her sons, Mark (Deborah) and Ted (Gayla); her husband Bryan Hughes; her grandchildren, Monica Whitlock, Lauren Jones, Cody, Joshua and Katie Clark; her great grandchildren, Justice, Liberty Clark, Liam Jones and Tommy Whitlock; and her cousins, Susan Brown and Bill Barth. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
