He was predeceased by : his parents, Lavester and Mary Jo Hardesty (Camp); his daughter Mandi Marie; his grandson Grayson Oliver; his brother Teddy Hardesty; and his nieces, Annie Hammond and Sara Hardesty.

He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Hardesty; his children, Krystal Shuree Oliver and Aaron Quinn Hardesty (Julie); his sister Rhonda Faye Hardesty; and his grandchildren, Peyton Matthew Holman, Logan Thomas Holman, Aiden Douglas Oliver, Kiplynn Jean Marie Oliver, Kloe Hardesty, Thomas Aaron Hardesty, Harper Bre'ann Hardesty and Charlie Blaze Hardesty.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the West Funeral Home (401 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Carlsbad Cemetery (1506 Boyd Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
