He is survived by: his wife Francisca Acevedo of Lufkin; his daughters, Leticia Acevedo (Aaron) of Lufkin, Martha Acevedo of Lufkin and Beatrice Acevedo of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Tanya, Diego Jr., Star, Hailey, Jaython, Maraville, Adrian, Emily and Arnoldo Jr.; his great grandchildren, Diego III, Drako, Eliyanah and Kyro; and his siblings, Jose, Luciano, Benito, Anacleto, Angel, Francisco, Herminio, Petra Padilla and Maria Cordero. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
