The memory of Dora Grigsby Hundley of Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nettie Grigsby (Fugate) and Robert Grigsby; and her siblings, Agnes Noble, Lou Rust, Pearl Hess, Polly Pangle, Ryle Grigsby and Bob Grigsby.
She is survived by: her husband Taxi Hundley of Lufkin; her children, Jane (David Chamberlin), Randy Stacy of Mont Belvieu, Robin (Tommy Medlock) and Richie (Sarah Chittum); her grandchildren, Lindsay (Patrick Ewart), Haley Chamberlin (Dora), Drake Nettles (Brooke), Jamin Stevenson (Ashli Stacy), Bryson (Nikki Stacy), Jessica (Jeremy Williams), Matthew (Maryann Medlock), Sarah (Joshua Wilson), Chad (Chaney Chittum) and Codee Chittum (Cason Chittum); and her caregivers, Liz Rauma, Gladys Thigpen, Teresa Copeland, Stephanie Parnell, Barbara Hassell and Hundley. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (1641 FM325, Lufkin, TX 75901).
