It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Marie Ridinger of Lufkin, Texas, born in Sweetwater, Texas, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Cross and Doris Cross; her sister Lucy Lay; her brother-in-law Arthur Lay; and her brother Wayne Cross.

She is survived by : her children, Wynonne Beall, Terri McDowell, Bart Ridinger, Angela Ward and Dennis Ridinger. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
