He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Jewell and Juaneva Hudgens (Burns). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hudgens; his daughters, Elizabeth (Paul Maupin) and Lauren (Jeremy Worley); his grandchildren, Meg Worley, McClain Maupin, Faith Worley and Bradford Maupin; and his brother George Thomas Hudgens.
