It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fairchild Teal of Lufkin, Texas, born in Huntington, Texas, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rosie Teal, (Garner) and Nash Teal, Sr.; her grandson Damien Johnigan; and her siblings, Henry Teal, Wookerson Teal, Troy Teal, Sr., Hollis Teal, Tommie Teal, Sr., Nash Teal, Jr., Billy Ray Teal, Lou Eva Garner and Quely Johnson.

She is survived by : her children, Beatrice Johnigan of Dallas, Sharlotte Teal of Lufkin, Adrienne Teal of Lufkin, Pamala Teal Nnaji of Dallas, Russell Teal of Dallas and Jessica Teal of Lufkin; her aunt Areice Garner; her uncle OLee Garner; her siblings, Wilbert Teal of Lufkin and Doris Watson of Dallas; and her sisters-in-law, Genevia Teal and Arender Teal. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904).
