It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ford Sparks Cartwright (Lufkin, Texas), born in Center, Texas, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jean Cartwright (Sparks); and his son Andrew Ford Cartwright. He is survived by: his parent Baxter Polk Cartwright, Jr.; his wife Becky Cartwright; his sister Kalitah Bernice Cartwright; his granddaughter Andrea Cartwright; his sibling's children, Deanna Jean Metcalf (Bryan), Pamela Marie McBride and Brandon Heinley (Carrie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna Elizabeth Metcalf, John Baxter Polk Metcalf, Kolby Bryant, Kyndel Bryant, Pearly Heinley and Wren Heinley; Nara Soun Chhay.
