She was predeceased by: her parents, David Clinton Green and Etta Lorraine Green (Pierce); her sister Carol Thompson; and her son Bobby Chase. She is survived by: her husband John D. Scarborough of Lufkin; her children, Roland Chase (Elva) of Alice, TX, Russell Chase of Alice, TX and Tonya Dininno (Randy Hinson) of Orange Grove, TX; her daughter-in-law Candida Chase of Alice, TX; her grandchildren, Joshua Chase (Rossy), Joseph Chase (Vanessa), Randi Hinson, Clinton Hinson, Jonathon Hinson, Jacob Chase and Nicholas Chase; and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Thompson and Janet Cooney (Peter). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Foundry Assembly of God Church (1405 S Chestnut St, Lufkin, TX 75901).
