He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Muriel (Anderson) and Thomas C. Myers; and his sister-in-law Margaret Myers. He is survived by: his wife Denise Myers (Duckworth) of Lufkin; his children, Tammy Sweet of Spring and Shawn Sullivan; his daughter-in-law Kristi Myers of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandsons, Gabriel Sullivan Sweet, Sullivan Daniel Myers and Benjamin Aiden Myers; his brother Jerry T. Myers of Frankston; and his siblings-in-law, Cloyd, Donna Duckworth of Corsicana, Dan and Kym Duckworth of May. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75081).
