He was predeceased by : his parents, Elton Yarbrough and Dimple Yarbrough (Childs); and his siblings, Tommie Yarbrough, Michael Yarbrough, Miranda Havard and Pamela Yarbrough.

He is survived by : his wife Olene Yarbrough of Lufkin; his son Shannon Dale; his daughter-in-law Joy Yarbrough of Zavalla; his children, Tamra Dale Jackson of Lufkin, Jimmie Mahlon Yarbrough of Lufkin and Landon Childs Yarbrough of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Layne (Emily Yarbrough), Reiley Yarbrough, Jaise Yarbrough, Braxton Yarbrough, Aidyn Jackson and Kendall Jackson; his great grandchild Brody Yarbrough; his siblings, Helen Wells and Robert Yarbrough; and his siblings-in-law, Milton Havard, Sherrie Yarbrough, Roy, Gwenda Britt, Bonnie, Harold Crow, Charlene Wooten and Darlene Wooten. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

HR Dogwood wrote a sympathy message

“My condolences to the whole Yarbrough family on your loss. Dale was a valued member of the Murray Brothers/Sido Trucking family for what seems a life time. I have fond memories of all the men sitting/joking around my mothers table eating breakfast and/or lunches that she lovingly made for them when they all had to work in the shop on Saturdays.
