He is survived by: his wife Veronica Gibson of Lufkin; his children, Victoria Penenburgh (Chris) of Jessup, Jessica Stuart (Matt) of Yuma, Elizabeth Medford (A. J.) of Bacliff, Texas, Ari Penenburgh of Lufkin and Nate Gibson of Lufkin; and his siblings, Bob Gibson (Vicki) of Rock Hill, Nancy Phillips (Glenn) of Salisbury and Kathy Gibson of Trappe, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters; 1 grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mark's memory may be made to the Marine Corps League of Lufkin, Green Hornets Youth Football League in Severna Park, Maryland, or the Lufkin Youth Football League.
