She is survived by: her children, Tammy (Kim), Vernon McKelvey (Rhonda) and Michael McKelvey; her grandchildren, Jonathan Kirkwood of Luflein, Desmon Jones, Jr., Jones of Houston, Cha'Brittanee Jones of Houston and Vershon Sturgis; her siblings, Sandra Brown Conway, Robert Brown, Josephine Brown (Lawson) and Roy Williams Sr. of Lufkin, Texas; and her goddaughter Patricia Matthews of Lullein. She is also survived by aunts, unc es, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
