He was predeceased by: his son Richard Gilbert, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Gilbert; his son Ronald Miller; his grandchildren, Valerie Gilbert, J. R. Gilbert, David Miller and Jennifer Miller; his great grandchildren, Roy Gilbert, Christopher Gilbert, Cameron Miller and Altas Miller; and his sisters, Beverly Star, Nancy and Rose Roland.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watson & Sons Funeral Home (1554 TX-7, Center, TX 75935). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
