He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha Aguilar; and his son Jesus Aguilar. He is survived by: his children, Sonia Meza, Ernesto Aguilar, Lucy Lopez and Irma Montoya; his brother Jose J. Aguilar; Eva Aguilar.
