He was predeceased by: his father Gerald David Ward; his grandparents, Shirley Ward-Labosky and Gerald Ward; his great-grandparents, Elsie Poland, John Sidney and Mae Walters; his grandparents, Hubert, Joan Roebuck, Francisco Talavera Ramos and Lourdes Cruz Ramos; his uncle Frankie John Ramos; and his aunt Virginia Ramos (Nora).
He is survived by: his mother Lu Ramos (Manuel Lujan); his sons, Marcus Ward and Kolby Ward (Abby); his sisters, Stephanie Ward-Sosa and Hannah Huntsman (Brett); his stepmother Charla Stewart (Richard); his nephew Jalen Ortiz Ward; his aunt Denise Bridwell (Lewis); and his pets, Monkey and Scooby. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353).
