She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lewis and Minnie McGee Lewis; her husband Charles Poindexter; her siblings, Ether Mae O'Quain (Dyes), Barbara Lewis, Robert Earl Lewis and Henry Lewis; and her nephews, James "Bo" Dyes, Ken Lewis and Michael Lewis.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Margaret Mitchell (Donnie), Diane, Rene, Lisa and Ed Lewis (Frances).
