He is survived by : his wife Carol Williams of Lumberton; his children, Charles Jr. (Debra) of Mauriceville, Gwen Grillo (Darrol) and Wendi Brisendine of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Chase Williams (Courtney), Amber Alford (Cody), Matthew Brisendine (Katherine), Aaron Grillo (Sarah), Devon Deckard (Fritz), Hunter Grillo and Darah Miller (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Preston, Izzy Williams, Bailey, Brenley, Bryden, Brooks, Briggs Alford, Jack and Charlie Brisendine.
