She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Bowman Ames and Walter V. Ames; and her husband Harley Harper. She is survived by : her children, Felicia Bent (Kenneth) of Lumberton and Rickey Harper of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Jason Sosa (Rosa), Christopher Sosa (Felicia), Kristina Froman (Jacob), Christian Harper and Elizabeth Harper; her great grandchildren, Peyton Sosa and Arabella Sosa; and her sister Dee Ames of South Carolina.
