He was predeceased by : his father Jack Glenn Best; and his sister-in-law Joni. He is survived by : his mother Sue Pipkin Best of Lindale; his wife Beth Best; his children, Meryl Hughes (Stephen) of Vidor and Jared Best (Stephanie) of Nederland; his grandchildren, Dillon Hughes, Ethan Hughes, Jackson Best and Emery Best; and his siblings, Kevin Lynn Best (Joy) of Lindale and Barbie Silkwood (Tony) of San Antonio.
