He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his father Edwin Votaw; his children, Karron Bjerke-Swartz, Pamela Foretich and Richard "Rick" Bjerke Jr. (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Jake Nelson, Brooke Bjerke, Rhonda Morgan Nelson, Paige Ruiz, Truitt Bjerke, Zoe Bjerke, Piper Bjerke and Kellie Bjerke; his great grandchildren, Dax, Brody and Celine; and his siblings, Charlotte Rau, Ginger Friemel, Lisa Moellenberndt (Frank), Sherry Huebel (Ronnie) and Charles Hoffman (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
